The Transporter 5 (2025)

With the return of Jason Statham and the surprise appearance of Scarlett Johansson, the fifth installment of the blockbuster action series *The Transporter* promises to bring breathtaking chases and dramatic confrontations.

Starting in 2002 with the first film directed by Cory Yuen, scripted by Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen, *The Transporter* introduced the audience to the character Frank Martin – a British hired driver living in France, specializing in transporting dangerous goods without asking questions. In the first film, he accidentally got involved in a human trafficking ring.

Inspired by the short film series *The Hire*, *The Transporter* premiered in Los Angeles on October 2, 2002, then released widely in the US and France. Despite mixed reviews, the film still made a strong impression with its eye-catching action scenes and grossed nearly $44 million worldwide, paving the way for many sequels, starting with *Transporter 2* in 2005.

Now, *The Transporter 5* marks the return of the franchise after many years of absence, ready to stir up the big screen with its signature action style and a completely new storyline.
