The Owner Violently Attacked His Cat, Took Her To The Vet, And Claimed She Had Injured Herself D
A victim of brutal abuse, her abuser took her to the vet claiming she had hurt herself… but the veterinarian knew something was wrong.
This little cat, savagely beaten by a cruel man in Taiwan—who struck her repeatedly when she “didn’t obey him”—ended up with injuries straight out of a nightmare.

The cat, named Lord, like many cats, would occasionally give playful nibbles to her human companions—a common behavior that usually fades as the animal grows up.
But Lord’s “owner” couldn’t tolerate this. Instead of choosing a humane option like finding a loving adopter or, in the worst case, surrendering her to a shelter, he decided to beat her so severely that she ended up in the veterinary ICU—all because she gave him a light nip on the finger when he served her food.
The shocking images were shared by Spring Animal Hospital, where Lord was admitted for treatment.
Dr. Lin, the vet in charge, was furious about the way she had been treated.

“If the owner physically assaults the animal, of course the animal will react and try to scratch. Hitting an animal to ‘correct behavior’ is a short-term fix at best—long term, it only makes them more aggressive,” he said.
When Lord arrived at the clinic—brought in by her owner, who claimed she had injured herself—she showed signs of a concussion. She was trembling, and her eyes were unable to focus.
She had also lost patches of fur due to the horrific abuse.

Terrified and distrustful of human contact, she had a serious nasal injury that required stitches. Thankfully, X-rays revealed that no bones were broken.
Lord spent the night under observation at the clinic, and Dr. Lin provided the care completely free of charge. With his help, she began to recover from the deep trauma she had endured.
When her “owner” returned the next day to retrieve her, Dr. Lin refused to hand her over. The man threatened and shouted, but had to leave after learning that Dr. Lin had only accepted the case in order to collect his information. The veterinarian had already filed a formal report for animal abuse and gained legal custody of the cat through the authorities.

Lord is now looking for a forever home. Dr. Lin is personally making sure her future family will be someone committed to animal care and patient enough to help her heal emotionally. Due to her trauma, Lord is now afraid of most humans.
Her new family will need to help her learn to trust again—and having a feline companion in the home might help greatly with her recovery.

Dr. Lin, a father to many animals (and to a daughter of his own), stated:
“Anyone capable of doing this to an animal is capable of doing the same to people.”
The case has sparked widespread outrage on social media, with many demanding harsh legal punishment for the abuser.
Dr. Lin’s quick thinking—accepting Lord into his care even when she was brought in by her abuser—was key to identifying him and ensuring justice. His swift action in reporting the abuse made all the difference.
