​Terminator 7, officially titled Terminator: Dark Fate, is a 2025 American science fiction action film directed by Tim Miller and produced by James Cameron. Serving as a direct sequel to Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991), it disregards the events of the subsequent sequels. The film stars Linda Hamilton reprising her role as Sarah Connor and Arnold Schwarzenegger as a reprogrammed T-800 Terminator. New characters include Mackenzie Davis as Grace, an augmented human soldier from the future, and Natalia Reyes as Dani Ramos, a young woman targeted by a new advanced Terminator model, the Rev-9 (played by Gabriel Luna). ​

The plot follows Grace and Sarah Connor as they protect Dani from the Rev-9, a Terminator capable of separating into two autonomous units. They are joined by Carl, a T-800 who has developed a conscience and now lives a human life. Together, they aim to prevent a future dominated by a new AI threat known as Legion.
